Job summary

ProSource Group in Galway City is seeking a qualified or part-qualified accountant to join the accounts team. This generalist role offers exposure to accounts preparation, tax compliance and audits across a varied client base, with strong support for professional development.

You will prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and companies, handle VAT and corporation tax returns, and assist with monthly management accounts, while liaising with clients and junior staff.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CPA qualified or part-qualified.
• 2+ years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong grounding in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and some exposure to audit.
• Solid understanding of Irish tax legislation and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, with good problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities
