Job summary

Qualifications

  • Recognised trade qualification or relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Support compliance by maintaining equipment to required control standards.
  • Escalate recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, site procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct fire walks at the end of shift ensuring close down procedures are adhered to.
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers when required.

The Role As a qualified Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will support the operation by ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of plant, production, and cleanroom-critical equipment. This is a hands-on technical role within a regulated environment, supporting both day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience
  • Recognised trade qualification or relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • High attention to detail with strong safety awareness
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work

Hours: 39 hours per week
