Elk Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented QC Technician for a food manufacturing operation in South Kildare, Ireland. You will conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and regulatory standards.

You'll monitor production lines, document activities with accuracy, and assist in quality improvements while collaborating with production and quality teams across shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Technician, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP.
  • Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to perform laboratory tests and use QC equipment effectively and safety.

Responsabilités

  • Monitor production processes and equipment to identify quality issues or deviations from standards.
  • Document all quality control activities accurately and maintain detailed records for compliance and traceability.

  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to maintain certification and regulatory compliance.
