Job summary

Takeda Bray is seeking a QC Team Leader to oversee the Quality Control lab in Bray, Ireland. The role focuses on GLP/cGMP compliance, instrument management, and safeguarding product quality for solid dosage pharmaceuticals.

You will lead QC analysts, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Production, QA, Planning and Shipping to meet release targets. A minimum of 5 years in analytical labs with supervision is required.

Qualifications

• BSc (minimum) in science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an analytical lab, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Technical experience of GC / HPLC analysis.
• Experience with continuous improvement plans within QC.
• Experience managing, motivating and leading a team of analysts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QC lab compliance with GLP/cGMP and maintain regulatory standards.
• Guide and supervise QC analysts/technicians, with performance management.
• Support team to achieve company and department goals with high standards.
• Inspire staff to be productive and engaged in their work.
• Prepare for and support external audits (HPRA, FDA, client or corporate).
• Maintain validation, operation, calibration, and troubleshooting of lab instruments.
• Maintain and manage QC documentation approvals and related systems (LIMS/Empower).
• Act as designee for QC Department Head in their absence.
