Job summary

Takeda Ireland Limited, Bray, is seeking a QC Team Leader to manage the Quality Control lab onsite. You will ensure GLP/GMP compliance, oversee GC/HPLC analyses, and guide a team of QC analysts to uphold high standards throughout manufacturing and packaging processes.

The role requires a BSc in science, 5+ years in an analytical lab with supervisory responsibilities, and strong leadership for continuous improvement and regulatory readiness. Onsite Bray location with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• BSc. (minimum) in science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in an analytical lab with supervisory responsibilities.
• Technical experience of GC / HPLC Analysis required.
• Experience with continuous improvement plans within the QC environment.
• Experience managing, motivating and leading a team of analysts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the QC lab is in compliance with GLP/GA GMP.
• Implement and maintain standards of GLP and cGMP.
• Provide guidance and performance management for QC analysts/technicians.
• Support the team to achieve department goals and improve performance.
• Lead safety, cGMP and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Planning, Shipping and other departments to meet release dates and standards.
• Oversee training, recruitment, discipline and appraisals of QC staff.
• Investigate non-conformances, instrument malfunctions or incidents.
• Validate, operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
