Job summary

The role requires thorough knowledge of GMP, FDA and EMEA regulations for solid oral dosage pharmaceuticals and a strong grasp of manufacturing and packaging processes. You will lead QC analysts/technicians, ensure GLP/cGMP compliance, drive continuous improvement, and support external audits (HPRA, FDA).

Qualifications

• BSc (minimum) in science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an analytical lab with supervisory responsibilities.
• Technical experience of GC / HPLC Analysis required.
• Experience with continuous improvement plans within the QC environment.
• Experience managing, motivating and leading a team of analysts

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the QC lab is in compliance with GLP/GMP and cGMP.
• Lead and guide a team of QC analysts/technicians to high performance.
• Support team to achieve department goals and safe, compliant operations.
• Perform investigations into non-conformances and instrument issues.
• Prepare for and support external audits (HPRA, FDA, corporate, or client).
