Qualifications

BS/BA in Microbiology or related field with 2+ years of validated experience.
Strong trouble‑shooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in GMP QC labs and aseptic techniques is desirable.

Responsibilities

Validate methods and equipment for sterility, bioburden, and endotoxin testing.
Write technical documentation including validation reports and investigations.
Culture organisms and characterize them for investigations and cleaning development.
Review new test procedures for accuracy and compliance.
Evaluate new methodologies and acquire new equipment.
Oversee contract laboratory testing to ensure quality and compliance.
Set product specifications and alert/action levels for microbiological standards.
Coach junior team members on GMP practices and aseptic techniques.
Support regulatory inspections to ensure compliance.
Demonstrate investigational skills in assay development and validation.
