Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd is seeking a QC Analyst Material Management for a 12-month contract in Dublin, Ireland. You will perform QC testing (TOC, pH Conductivity) of water samples and analyse Raw Materials using HPLC, KF, UV, IR, and wet chemistry techniques.

In a regulated cGMP environment, you will document results, comply with SOPs, and support technical transfer of new projects. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate holds a third-level qualification in Chemistry or Biology, or related discipline.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare lab is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing (TOC, pH, Conductivity) on water samples.
• Analyse Raw Materials using HPLC, KF, UV, IR and wet chemistry.
• Document lab results accurately per SOPs and site specs.
• Review and author documentation and SOPs as required.
• Conduct batch review and reconcile lab analyses; investigate out-of-spec results.
• Support technical transfer of new projects.

What you’ll do:

• Performing QC testing (TOC, pH Conductivity) of water samples.
• Performing analysis of Raw Materials including HPLC, KF, UV, IR and wet chemistry techniques.
• Completion in a timely and accurate manner of laboratory documentation as directed by the QC Raw Materials Manager.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and registered specifications.
• Author and review documentation, including SOPs, as required.
• Perform batch review and reconciliation of laboratory analysis, ensuring that any out-of-specification results are investigated in accordance with site procedures.
• Supporting technical transfer of new projects.

• The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across a broad QC raw materials portfolio while supporting critical site operations in a regulated cGMP environment.

• The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team based collaborative environment.
• The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of a third level qualification (Degree) in Chemistry/Biology or related discipline along with experience in a pharmaceutical / healthcare laboratory or related technical function.
