Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a QC Raw Materials Specialist for a state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing facility in Dublin. You will perform routine QC testing of water samples and raw materials, using techniques such as HPLC, KF, UV, and IR, while maintaining strict documentation and compliance with cGMP standards.

Reporting to the QC Raw Materials Manager, you will help ensure data integrity, support technical transfers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated

Qualifications

• A minimum of a third-level degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical or similar regulated lab.
• Practical knowledge of analytical testing techniques and laboratory documentation.
• Understanding of cGMP requirements and working in a regulated environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing of water samples (TOC, pH, conductivity).
• Conduct raw material analysis using HPLC, KF, UV, IR and wet chemistry methods.
• Complete testing and documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure activities comply with SOPs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Author, review and update laboratory documentation and SOPs as needed.
• Investigate OOS results and support deviations and quality events.
