Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a QA Technologist for a leading food manufacturing operation in Tipperary, Republic of Ireland. The role focuses on maintaining quality, hygiene and food safety in collaboration with production and technical teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Food Science degree, with 1–2 years in food quality or a technical role, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication of quality requirements to production staff.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicating quality requirements to production teams.
• Good Microsoft Office skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor factory hygiene, GMP, housekeeping and foreign body controls.
• Review quality records and production documentation.
• Carry out product checks, taste panels and routine chemical testing.
• Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support customer audits, traceability exercises and microbiological testing.
• Drive improvements in quality standards and factory compliance.

The Role
