Zusammenfassung

iLabs is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our on-site team in Battaramulla. You will contribute to QA across agile sprints, write and execute test plans, and develop automated tests with Playwright.

You will collaborate with developers, DevOps and product stakeholders to improve test coverage, release quality, and process efficiency while leveraging AI-assisted testing capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or a special diploma in Software QA is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with hands-on manual and automation testing.
• Experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques and best practices.
• Experience writing test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Good understanding of API testing and defect tracking tools.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; Git and CI/CD knowledge is an advantage.
• Exposure to testing AI/LLM-powered features is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide QA support for sprint activities and weekly production releases.
• Review requirements and designs to prepare test plans and estimates.
• Execute manual testing for web applications, APIs and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests with Playwright.
• Identify defects, perform regression testing and track fixes.
• Improve QA processes, test strategies and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, designers, and product stakeholders.
• Improve test coverage and release quality through QA best practices.
• Leverage approved AI tools for test data and automation, validating AI output.
