Job summary

Thomson Keene in Dublin is seeking a Python Developer for a daily rate contract to design and scale a large ETL system in Python with NoSQL databases, processing hundreds of millions of transactions daily from front office trading to back-office ledgers.

The role is a 6–18 month engagement on a hybrid basis (3 days on-site per week) in South Dublin, offering exposure to investment banking applications and a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with NoSQL object databases.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing ETL systems.
• Working on investment banking applications, most likely in Foreign Exchange, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Prime brokerage, and any other niche products.
• Assuming some architecture duties, including the development and maintenance of business and system architectures.
• Conducting complex technology and system assessments.
• Supporting and advising internal clients and technical management.
