Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Python Developer with a web focus in Ireland to join our engineering team. You will build scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services, collaborating with frontend, product, and cloud engineers to deliver robust digital solutions.

You will design clean Python code, optimise performance and security, contribute to architecture and code reviews, and support deployments in cloud and containerised environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
