Fruition Group Ireland in Dublin is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on building secure, scalable backend services in a cloud-native environment.

The position offers a hybrid working pattern with 2 days per week on site, collaborating across engineering, product, and security teams to deliver robust serverless solutions using AWS. Candidates should have strong Python expertise, hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python with OO design, testing, and maintainable service design.
• Experience building and operating cloud services within AWS environments.
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure backend software applications that are reliable and scalable.
• Ownership of complex features from design through to production release.
• Collaboration with engineers, product managers, architects, designers, QA, security, and data teams to help deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions while contributing to ideas that will improve overall performance.
• Contribute to technical decision-making in cloud-native and serverless environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and promote engineering best practices across the wider group.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, pair programming, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.

• Experience designing backend capabilities including APIs, secure storage solutions, analytics services, and workflow integrations.
