Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Project Manager at Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager level to join our Public Sector Transformation Excellence team in Ireland. You will lead and support transformation, change and implementation projects for public sector clients, coordinating workstreams and maintaining governance.

Qualifications

• A third-level degree with a strong academic record.
• Typically 2–5 years' relevant experience in project management or related field.
• Proven project and/or programme management experience, preferably within public sector, consulting firm or professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects through full lifecycle, delivering within scope, timeline and budget.
• Excellent analytical capability and strong stakeholder management, with outstanding written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of transformation, change and implementation projects for public sector clients.
• Act as day-to-day point of contact for clients, managing queries and building strong relationships.
• Conduct in-depth research and data analysis to inform strategic solutions for public sector organisations.
• Translate research and stakeholder input into practical recommendations and deliverables.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for clients and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
