Job summary

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead an established team, navigate EU directives, and drive cost optimisation while maintaining robust governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in procurement, with public sector experience and knowledge of frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the overarching procurement strategy and annual commercial plans.
• Lead a purchasing team with clear standards and staff development.
• Run end-to-end tendering for major public contracts from market engagement to award.
• Ensure compliance with Irish and EU procurement rules and internal controls.
• Drive cost optimisation and supplier performance with governance.
• Provide pragmatic counsel to budget holders and senior leadership.
