Job summary

A Dublin-based national law firm is seeking a lawyer to join its market-leading Competition & Public Procurement team. You will advise domestic and international clients on complex procurement matters across infrastructure, energy, technology and public services projects.

The role covers procurement design, tender submissions, contract documentation, EU and Irish rules, remedies, and ongoing contract management, with opportunities for international work and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• 1-6 years’ PQE in competition or procurement.
• Experience advising on procurement processes and tender submissions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage in business development.

Responsibilities

• Advise on EU and Irish procurement rules, standstill and remedies requirements.
• Draft tender documentation, framework agreements, and public contracts.
• Provide advice on contract modifications and ongoing contract management.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a market-leading Competition & Public Procurement team, advising domestic and international corporations, state bodies, contracting authorities, utilities and bidders on complex and high-value procurement matters. The team advises across major infrastructure, energy, technology, and public services projects.

The role will involve advising on the design and implementation of procurement processes, bidder strategy and tender submissions, and drafting tender documentation, framework agreements, and public contracts. The successful candidate will also advise on EU and Irish procurement rules, standstill and remedies requirements, contract modifications, and ongoing contract management.
