Job summary

Surecall Medical Recruitment is seeking a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a leading ADHD and neurodevelopmental assessment provider in southern Ireland (Cork/Munster). You will lead psychiatric assessments for children and young people, collaborating with an experienced MDT of psychologists, OTs and SLTs.

Flexible delivery is available (in-person, telehealth, or mix). The role requires Full IMC registration with Specialist CAMHS, and MRCPsych or equivalent with Higher

Qualifications

• Full IMC registration with Specialist Registration in CAMHS (or eligible).
• MRCPsych or equivalent, with Higher Specialist Training in CAMHS.
• Solid clinical grounding in ADHD diagnosis and medication management in children/young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead psychiatric assessment and diagnosis for children and young people with ADHD, autism, and co-occurring presentations.
• Initiate and monitor medication in line with IMC and best-practice guidelines.
• Work within a genuinely collaborative MDT — not sitting in a silo.
• Flexible delivery — in-person, telehealth, or a mix of both.
