Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Ireland seeks a PSP Financial Analyst to oversee financial control across payment service providers, reconcile data, and monitor liquidity for payouts and settlements. You will analyze provider costs and collaborate with providers and internal teams to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, finance operations, payment operations, PSP reconciliation, or financial analysis.
  • Experience with payment service providers, banks, fintech products, or payment-related financial data.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills for large datasets analysis.
  • Experience with financial reconciliation, provider statements, and settlement reporting.
  • Understanding of cost control and management accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Intermediate or higher English proficiency for written communication.
  • Experience in iGaming, fintech, e-commerce, or retail is a plus.
  • Familiarity with rolling reserves, commissions, fees, exchange rates, or payment cost analysis is advantageous.
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Basic SQL knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day communication with payment service providers and ensure terms are followed.
  • Monitor balances across payment systems and maintain liquidity for payouts and settlements.
  • Prepare and control settlement requests, player payouts, and company withdrawals.
  • Reconcile turnover, balances, settlement reports, provider statements, and related data.
  • Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with providers and internal teams until resolved.
  • Monitor provider fees, costs, exchange rates, rolling reserves, and commissions.
  • Analyze PSP performance and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation covering payment procedures and financial controls.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PSP Financial Analyst based in Ireland.

This role focuses on financial control and operational oversight across payment service providers, combining reconciliation, liquidity management, and financial analysis. You’ll monitor payment flows, balances, settlements, and provider costs to help maintain accurate and efficient financial operations. The position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive issues through to resolution. You’ll work closely with external payment providers and internal stakeholders while ensuring agreed commercial and operational terms are followed. Your analysis will also support recommendations for reducing payment costs and improving processes. This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a data‑driven, international environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and control settlement requests, player payouts, and company withdrawals.
  • Reconcile transaction turnover, balances, settlement reports, provider statements, and other payment‑related financial data.
  • Investigate financial discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate with payment providers and internal teams until issues are fully resolved.
  • Monitor provider fees, costs, exchange rates, rolling reserves, commissions, and contractual terms.
  • Analyze payment service provider performance and identify opportunities to optimize costs and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation covering payment procedures, reconciliation processes, and related financial controls.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, finance operations, payment operations, PSP reconciliation, or financial analysis.
  • Experience working with payment service providers, banks, fintech products, or payment‑related financial data.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, with the ability to analyze and manage large datasets.
  • Practical experience with financial reconciliation, provider statements, settlement reports, transaction turnover, balance control, or regular financial reporting.
  • Understanding of fundamental financial processes, cost control, and management accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external providers.
  • Intermediate or higher English proficiency, particularly for written communication.
  • Experience in iGaming, fintech, e‑commerce, or retail is a plus.
  • Familiarity with rolling reserves, commissions, fees, exchange rates, or payment cost analysis is advantageous.
