Job summary

Allied Irish Banks is seeking a Financial Prudential Advisory Lead in Dublin to oversee the Prudential Advisory team within Regulatory Compliance. This leadership role focuses on financial prudential regulations and involves engagement with 1LOD and 2LOD across capital, liquidity, reporting, and IFRS9.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in a financial services environment.
• Experience leading compliance or regulatory teams.
• Strong understanding of prudential regulations and accounting standards.
• Ability to interpret and translate regulatory requirements for senior audiences.
• Experience managing regulatory change and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a robust second line regulatory compliance plan.
• Challenge senior management to influence strategic decisions.
• Oversee risk assessments and regulatory control effectiveness.
• Present independent second line views at fora and risk committees.
• Embed risk culture and provide timely regulatory advice.
• Review and challenge group policies and regulatory gap analyses.
