Job summary

AIB is seeking a Financial Prudential Advisory Lead in Dublin to lead the Prudential Advisory team within Regulatory Compliance. The role focuses on financial prudential regulations, engaging with 1LOD/2LOD teams and senior stakeholders across Capital, Liquidity, Regulatory Reporting, and IFRS 9.

Hybrid working and a senior leadership profile are essential. The successful candidate will oversee independent policy reviews, risk assessments and regulatory change, while driving a strong risk

Qualifications

• At least 8 years’ experience in financial services, in Compliance, Risk, Audit, Regulatory Affairs or a supervisory/regulatory authority role.
• Proven capability in leading and developing teams of regulatory/compliance specialists.
• Strong expertise in prudential regulations and accounting standards (IFRS 9) and translating requirements for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals across prudential advisory workstreams.
• Provide independent review of policies, gap analyses and product propositions against prudential regulations.
• Engage in interpretation of regulatory requirements and maintain extensive regulatory landscape knowledge.
• Challenge senior management and influence strategic decisions on regulatory controls and risk appetite.
• Represent Compliance in governance forums and provide timely risk reporting to risk committees.
