Job summary

International Organization for Migration in Ireland is seeking a Project Associate - Protection to support the implementation of protection activities under the supervision of the Chief of Mission and the National IBG and Protection Officer.

The role involves working with migrants and vulnerable groups, coordinating with headquarters, regional offices and country offices, and preparing monitoring reports in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with three years of relevant professional experience; or High School diploma with five years.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, victims of trafficking, unaccompanied minors, and other vulnerable groups.
• Prior work experience with international humanitarian organisations or government/non-government bodies in a multicultural setting is advantageous.
• Experience in project implementation, monitoring, and/or development.
• Experience with migration issues in Europe and/or Ireland is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of IOM Ireland protection activities.
• Support coordination with HQ, RO and relevant country offices.
• Prepare clear and concise reports and documentation for monitoring and evaluation.
• Assist with training, event planning, and stakeholder engagement as needed.
