• Conduct inspections of housing stock, including pre- and post-inspections, identifying issues such as damp, disrepair, fire safety, and non-compliance with standards.
• Prepare reports and maintenance schedules and liaise with Local Authorities and other stakeholders.
• Oversee reactive maintenance, major works, and ensure value for money in works undertaken.
• Manage refurbishment or improvement projects: write specifications, tender, procure and monitor contractor performance.
• Prepare cost estimates for repairs and upgrades; collaborate with finance on budgets.
