Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is assisting a client in Kells, Co. Meath to recruit a Retrofit Building Surveyor & Quality Assessor on a hybrid basis.

You will perform detailed building surveys, assess insulation, ventilation and energy upgrades, and produce technical reports to Irish standards. The role requires at least 1 year in surveying, a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, SEAI guidelines and NSAI standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's experience in building surveying or a similar role.
• Experience in retrofit projects, building assessments or energy efficiency upgrades.
• Good understanding of Irish Building Regulations and energy efficiency standards.
• Familiarity with SEAI requirements, NSAI guidelines and ISO standards.
• Experience in quality assurance, site inspections or compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed building surveys and retrofit assessments on domestic properties.
• Assess properties for insulation, ventilation and renewable energy installations.
• Take accurate measurements and prepare technical reports, risk assessments and supporting documentation.
• Advise customers on proposed retrofit works, installation processes and ventilation requirements.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure works are completed to the required specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed retrofit projects, identifying any defects or areas requiring improvement.
• Ensure all works comply with Irish Building Regulations, SEAI guidelines, NSAI standards and S.R. 54.
• Maintain accurate records of surveys, inspections and quality assessments.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure works are delivered safely and to a high standard.
