Zircoe is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects in Ireland from early concept through to delivery. You will manage portfolios across land, permitting, grid interfaces, and stakeholder engagement, coordinating with consultants, engineers, and regulatory bodies to drive project delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in project development within renewables, with strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • End-to-end project development experience in energy sectors

Are you a Project Manager, Development Manager, Engineer or Planner looking to take your career into one of Ireland's fastest-growing sectors?

We're currently recruiting for a Development Project Manager to join a growing renewable energy organisation and play a key role in taking projects from early-stage concept through to delivery.

You'll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects, including:

Battery Energy Storage

You'll work across land, planning, permitting, grid, technical development, commercial assessment and project delivery — giving you genuine end-to-end project development experience.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple renewable energy projects
  • Supporting land sourcing and landowner negotiations
  • Coordinating planning and permitting activities
  • Managing project due diligence and feasibility studies
  • Working with consultants, engineers and regulatory bodies
  • Supporting grid connection activities with ESB Networks & EirGrid
  • Managing project budgets, programmes and risks
  • Preparing technical reports, proposals and project updates
  • Supporting project design, costing and optimisation
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting senior management with project development and delivery

We're looking for someone with 3+ years' relevant experience and a background in:

  • Planning
  • Project Development
  • Renewable Energy

You'll also need:

  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
  • Microsoft Office / Excel experience
  • Microsoft Project or similar
  • AutoCAD, BIM or related technical experience
  • Full driving licence

Experience with:

  • Renewable energy or utilities
  • Solar, BESS, wind or energy infrastructure
  • Irish planning & permitting
  • Land acquisition, options & leases

This is more than just a Project Management role.
