Job summary

Cill Dara Housing Association CLG seeks a Property Development Manager to drive its Growth Strategy 2026-2030, securing a sustainable housing pipeline across County Kildare and nearby counties.

You will build relationships with developers, landowners, local authorities and sector partners, advancing opportunities from feasibility to funding. The role reports to the CEO and collaborates with the Board's Committee on a multi-stakeholder, multi-stage process.

Qualifications

• Experience in property development and housing delivery is desirable.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Growth Strategy 2026-2030 to secure a sustainable pipeline of housing opportunities across County Kildare and surrounding counties.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with developers, landowners, local authorities and sector partners.
• Progress schemes from early feasibility through to funding approval and handover.
• Coordinate with the CEO and the Board's Property and Development Committee; manage multiple stakeholders across complex, multi-stage processes.

Job description

Cill Dara Housing Association CLG is recruiting a Property Development Manager to lead the delivery of its Growth Strategy 2026-2030 by securing and progressing a sustainable pipeline of new housing opportunities across County Kildare and surrounding counties.

This is a newly created role at a pivotal stage in the Association's development. The successful candidate will identify and cultivate relationships with developers, landowners, local authorities and sector partners, assess opportunities across a range of delivery models - including CALF/P&A, Part V and turnkey acquisitions - and progress schemes from early feasibility through to funding approval and handover.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and working closely with the Board's Property and Development Committee, this role requires a commercially aware professional with strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex, multi-stage processes. A knowledge of Irish social housing funding mechanisms and the Approved Housing Body operating environment is highly desirable.
