Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is assisting an Ireland-based insurance firm in recruiting an experienced Claims Handler-Property. You will manage a diverse portfolio of property and other pre-litigation claims, driving settlement outcomes with a clear strategy and policy coverage reviews.

The role reports to the Claims Manager and offers hybrid working, with training and career progression in a collaborative environment within the General Insurance sector.

Qualifications

• CIP qualification is essential.
• Strong claims handling experience (at least 3 years) within General Insurance, ideally property claims.

Responsibilities

• Managing a mixed portfolio of property and other pre-litigation claims through to resolution.
• Applying clear claims strategies, reviewing policy coverage.
• Working closely with loss adjusters, brokers and customers.
• Identifying and pursuing appropriate settlement opportunities throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Using telephone and direct engagement to support settlement outcomes.
