Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking a Qualified Quantity Surveyor for a large scale building project in Ireland valued at €20M+. Reporting to the Senior QS, you will manage CSA packages, cost control, and procurement strategies.

You should hold a 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying with 4+ years in a similar role, and have experience with CSA measurements and costs on major Irish schemes.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 4+ years in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of CSA work packages measurements and costs.
• Experience on large scale building projects in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the administration and change order process associated with the CSA packages
• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the project team and/or the client
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
• Performing risk, value management and cost control
• Advising on procurement strategy
• Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks
• Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
• Allocating work to subcontractors
• Providing advice on contractual claims
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments
• Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
