Murphy is recruiting for a Project Manager to work with our Transportation & Infrastructure team in Kildare. The role entails leading planning, execution, monitoring and completion of Transport & Infrastructure projects from inception to completion, coordinating resources, budgets, risks and stakeholder communication.

The Project Manager will align project outcomes with organisational goals, deliver value through structured delivery and manage commercial aspects and subcontractors.

Qualificações

• Hold Civil Engineering, Construction Management Degree or a relevant trade certification.
• Experience in Construction Contracts, in particular Public Works Contracts.
• Experience within a Project Managerial role.
• Experience in managing complex site-based projects.
• Experience of working on industrial building projects through design, construction and BCAR.
• Experience of working on large public civil infrastructure projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to develop close working relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of projects safely, on time, and to budget.
• Set the overall standard on the projects/contract.
• Ensure project requirements are identified and delivered.
• Identify issues and resolve them in a controlled and timely manner.
• Plan, review, and deliver contract programmes.
• Line manage Site Managers, Site Engineers and Section Managers.
• Maintain effective client relationship management and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Create and review risk assessments and ensure they are in place.
• Resolve operational issues with guidance from senior leaders.
• Oversee commercial activities including gross margin, cost control and key metrics.
• Manage subcontractor performance and cost control.
