Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a skilled Project Manager (Service & Maintenance) to oversee the delivery of service projects for Uisce Eireann, industrial customers and Veolia sites across the Island of Ireland, from tender stage to successful completion.

You will manage a team of Electrical and Mechanical Technicians and Project Engineers, coordinate activities, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, cost and schedule targets are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in a project engineer role.
• Exposure to Service & Maintenance project activities.
• Diploma/Degree/Masters level in a relevant Engineering discipline or appropriate experience.
• Strong IT skills including MS Project, Concept Evolution, Google Suite.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Self motivated and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of contracts for all assigned service and maintenance projects and services.
• Coordination of activities/outputs on a variety of projects across industrial, Veolia operated sites and client sites.
• Act as the main point of contact for dealing with any issues relating to your project portfolio.
• Work collaboratively within the S&M structure with the client, technical assurance, risk and assurance, employers representative and operations to deliver project scope.
• Provide timely updates to senior management on project progress, cost forecasts and variations etc.
• Manage and coordinate direct reports including technicians, tendering etc. to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Monitor and control of the project and adherence to the project programme.
• Identify risks to project activities/outputs and provide notification to the client, to allow preparation of early warnings, claims, variations and final cost cap agreement

Project Manager (Service & Maintenance)

Location: Kilkenny

Contract Type: Permanent

Work Shift: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Overview of the role

Due to continued success and growth across the Service and Maintenance division, we are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of Service and Maintenance Services and projects for Uisce Eireann, Industrial Customers, and Veolia sites across the Island of Ireland.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing service and maintenance services and projects from tender stage through to successful completion. This role includes managing direct reports such as Electrical Technicians and Mechanical Technicians, Project Engineers etc. ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget whilst maintaining strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Duties of the Role include;
