Global Professional Consultants in Galway seeks a Project Manager with a Civil or Structural background and 8-10 years’ experience to lead design and delivery of large-scale projects across Ireland. The role involves liaising with design teams, clients and contractors, and guiding teams through project life cycles.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in civil or structural engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered status with Engineers Ireland.
• 8–10 years’ experience in an engineering consultancy designing and delivering civil/structural projects.
• Able to prioritise workload and communicate effectively with clients and teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with design team on civil/structural projects for private/public clients in Ireland and the EU.
• Chair monthly progress meetings with clients and contractors.
• Oversee design and construction across project life cycles.
• Act as primary client liaison ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates; lead project teams to meet scope, time, and budget.

Project Manager – (with a Civil or Structural background)

Galway

Project Manager with 8-10 years’ experience needed to join a highly respected, award-winning international multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices in Galway, Dublin, Dundalk and Cork. The successful Project Manager will be responsible for the design and delivery of various large scale projects across Ireland. You will join a dynamic, ambitious and rapidly growing team with excellent career prospects.

Duties:

• The successful Project Manager will liaise with the design team and work on various civil and/or structural projects for private/public clients around Ireland and the EU.
• As a Civil Engineer, you will be involved in monthly progress meetings with client and contractors.
• You will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of a wide range of projects at various stages in the project life cycles.
• Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and graduates.
• Leading project teams to deliver projects within agreed scope, timeframes and budgets.

• Liaising with clients, and other stakeholders and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the project requirements.

Requirements:

• Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered member with Engineers Ireland.
• The successful Project Manager should have 8-10 years’ experience working within an engineering consultancy and experience in the design and delivery Civil and Structural projects.
• The successful Project Manager will be experienced in communicating effectively and have the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems is essential.
