Job summary

AA Euro Group in Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to join a leading Tier One contractor delivering large scale infrastructure across the country. Both permanent and contract positions are available, with a focus on successful delivery of complex projects.

You will plan, direct and coordinate construction activities, develop schedules, ensure health and safety compliance, manage subcontractors and site teams, and drive a right‑first‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Higher Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 8+ years post-qualification experience with tier one contractors.
• Background in large scale, high headcount sites.
• Strong knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and a team player.
• Self-motivated with initiative.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Develop project plans and schedules and execute plans to achieve outcomes.
• Comply with Health & Safety aspects of the project in line with policies.
• Coordinate project activities with Quality System and Engineering Specifications.
• Manage day-to-day lifecycle of the project from initiation to hand-over.
• Take actions to address delays, bad weather, or emergencies at site.
• Obtain all necessary internal permits.
• Lead delivery to achieve right-first-time outcomes.
• Oversee subcontractor site operations and internal finishes.
• Drive achievement of production targets and monitor subcontractor programs.

Education

Degree / Higher Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent

AA Euro Group is currently seeking a Project Manager to join a leading Tier One contractor delivering large scale infrastructure projects across Ireland. Both permanent and contract positions are available. Prior experience delivering large scale infrastructure works is desirable for this role.

Duties:

• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Develop project plans and schedules and execute plans to achieve agreed outcomes
• Comply with the Health & Safety aspects of the project in line with company policies and procedures.
• Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications.
• Manage complete day to day life cycle of project from initial stages through to hand-over.
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
• Obtain all necessary internal permits.
• Achieve a right first time philosophy throughout the project life cycle.
• To be responsible for the successful delivery of project through leadership, management, technical & engineering expertise throughout the project life cycle.
• Manage the day-to-day site operations of subcontractors on site.
• Manage the day-to-day internal finishes on site.
• Help manage project in line with the agreed production targets.
• Manage the workflow of sub-contractors ensuring theyre in line with the program of works on site.
• Agree sub-contractors long term and short-term program and monitor performance.
• Ensure highest level of health and safety is always upheld.
