Job summary

Greenvolt Next is seeking an experienced project leader to drive renewable energy construction projects in Ireland. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high safety standards.

You will oversee planning, execution, commissioning and handover, while mitigating risks and maintaining quality. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the energy transition within an international company and diverse project portfolio.

Job description

Greenvolt Next is committed to decentralized energy production , as it represents one of the key pillars of the energy transition and a crucial lever for reducing electricity bills. We have partnerships across Europe, based on local expertise and a deep understanding of each market. The primary purpose of this role is to lead and deliver renewable energy construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The position exists to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders and project risks, and ensure the successful execution and handover of large-scale renewable energy projects in line with organisational and client objectives.

Project Planning and Execution

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met. Oversee all phases of the construction process from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Maintain effective communication with all project participants to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly. Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.

Team Leadership

Lead and manager on-site construction teams, including subcontractors Foster a positive and productive work environment. Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Participate in monthly Lessons Learned sessions, bringing specific contributions to be shared with the broader organisation. Manage and mentor team members as required. This role may encompass line management of a number of direct employees with associated tasks including performance management, KPI setting and discussions.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and quality.

Risk Management

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans to address potential project disruptions. Ensure project documentation is maintained and up to date.

Budget and Cost Control

Manage project budgets, including cost forecasting and tracking. Approve project expenditures and manage vendor contracts. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or safety. Assist in any other duties which may encompass the role.
