Job summary

HERO Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager - Construction Installations to lead projects across Ireland and continental Europe, coordinating manufacturing, installation and tendering stages.

Based in the data center sector, the role involves managing sub-contractors, liaising with design and manufacturing teams, and ensuring smooth pre-site preparation and site installation with regular travel. You will assess risks, control budgets, and drive project delivery to time and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience managing sub-contractors on a construction site.
• Steel work or metal fabrication experience is an advantage.
• A good knowledge of, and comfort with, interpreting drawings and design packages.

• Be present on installation to troubleshoot issues.
• The understanding and ability to measure, estimate and submit quotes.
• Manage a small multi-disciplinary team and ensure pre-site preparation work is in place.

Project Manager - Construction Installations

Are you a Project Manager working closely with manufacturing and installation teams to help tender, design and install a range of industrial and commercial projects throughout Ireland and on the continent.

Due to continued growth in our clients business they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Project Engineer who wishes to contribute and participate in the successful growth and expansion of a proven business. Working mainly in the data center industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage multiple jobs/sub-contractors and navigate the complexities of site installation.
• Be present at installation to trouble shoot and issues.
• The understanding and ability to measure, estimate and submit quotes.
• Manage a small multi-disciplinary team and ensure that all pre-site preparation work is in place.
• Liaise with Design and Manufacturing teams on potential issues, delays.

Ideally you will have :

• Experience in managing sub contractors on a construction site.
• Steel work or metal fabrication experience an advantage.
• A good knowledge of, and be comfortable with, the interpretation of drawings and the output of different design packages.
• Open to regular European travel.
