Job summary

highr is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale residential development in Meath. You will manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, and drive the construction programme from commencement through to handover.

The role requires 7+ years in Irish residential construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication. A construction degree or trade background is advantageous. DOE salary range reflects a robust package and clear career progression.

Responsibilities

About the Role Our client, an established residential developer with a strong pipeline of projects across Meath, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their construction team.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the delivery of a large-scale residential development, managing the project from commencement through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the residential development.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Develop and manage the construction programme, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate closely with the design, commercial and technical teams.
• Ensure works are delivered to the required quality, programme and budget.
• Maintain the highest standards of health & safety across the project.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor performance and site resources.
• Oversee quality control, snagging, completion and handover of units.
• Liaise with local authorities, utility providers and other external stakeholders as required.

Requirements

• 7+ years' construction experience, ideally within the Irish residential sector.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager delivering large residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of housing and/or apartment construction.
• Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction programming, sequencing and project delivery.
• Degree or trade background in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline beneficial.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
