The Role

Project Coordinator / Retrofit Project Manager

Midlands (Hybrid Working) Salary: Competitive, DOE

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing retrofit projects from survey stage through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining site visits, home working, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential retrofit projects across Dublin and Laois.
• Provide clear objectives and direction to project team members and subcontractors.
• Complete high-quality surveys of homes where grant-funded works will be carried out.
• Keep all relevant stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Respond positively to challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate multiple small-scale projects simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Utilise project management apps and Microsoft Office tools effectively.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• BER Assessor qualification or experience managing retrofit projects.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management applications.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• A proactive, results-driven approach with strong problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• 1 to 5 years' experience in project management, construction, retrofit, or a related field.
• Construction Management background.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating project schedules.
• Knowledge of residential energy upgrade programmes and grant-funded projects.
