Job summary

We are seeking a Project Manager for an established engineering business near Dublin, Ireland. You will own multiple automation projects from concept to delivery, coordinating mechanical, electrical and controls engineers, customers and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Expect ownership from day one, with exposure to international customers and opportunities to drive technically challenging projects in a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Project management experience within automation, manufacturing, special purpose machinery or capital equipment.
• Experience leading engineering projects through the full lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
• Experience managing budgets, programmes and project risk.
• A mechanical or electrical engineering background, or experience working closely with engineering teams.
• APM, PRINCE2 or similar project management qualifications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple engineering projects from initial planning through to final delivery.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical and controls engineers, customers and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
• Operate in a role where ownership from day one drives decisions and customer relationships.
• Drive projects forward and ensure communication across all stakeholders.
