Job summary

Mane Contract Services is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead a major data centre project in Clonee, Dublin. The role focuses on delivering complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure safely, on time and within budget.

You will manage multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors and vendors, maintain programmes and budgets, and serve as the primary client contact. Travel may be required for project delivery and site interfaces.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar Project Management position.
  • Strong Health & Safety and risk assessment knowledge.
  • Proven vendor and subcontractor management experience.
  • Strong commercial and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong leadership, motivation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical and business issues clearly.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad when required.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
  • Managing project schedules, milestones and delivery programmes.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Tracking project completion, schedule performance, baseline variance and costs.
  • Managing project registers and maintaining accurate project status.
  • Ensuring compliance with client and company health & safety requirements.
  • Managing subcontractor selection, performance and resourcing.
  • Carrying out routine project inspections.
  • Ensuring work is delivered in line with agreed scope and programme.
  • Managing contract budgets and reporting financial performance.
  • Monitoring subcontractor invoicing against project progress.
  • Developing and implementing project execution and safe systems of work.
  • Managing vendor performance and outsourced support.
  • Ensuring contractual SLA and KPI requirements are achieved.
  • Acting as the key contact during significant events and technical escalations.
  • Leading and supporting project teams to achieve delivery objectives.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, employees, subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining appropriate project records and documentation.

Mane Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major data centre project in Clonee, Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong electrical and mechanical data centre background to take ownership of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required client standards.

The Role:

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects across the data centre environment. You will lead project teams, manage subcontractors and vendors, monitor budgets and programmes, and act as a key point of contact for the client.

The role will involve managing projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring that execution plans, safety plans, schedules and commercial controls are in place throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

Technical Experience Required:

Candidates should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within a data centre environment, including:

  • Transformers
  • Switchgear
  • UPS systems & battery banks
  • ATS / STS units
  • PDU systems
  • Air Handling Units & chilled water systems
  • Fire alarm and fire suppression systems

You should also have experience with project upgrades, health & safety risk assessments, control measures and vendor/subcontractor management.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar Project Management position
