Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams across a Dublin-based portfolio, delivering projects from initiation to handover, reporting to the Department Head, and providing regular updates to Senior Management.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong stakeholder management, and rigorous governance to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule targets in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, or Architecture.
• Minimum 5+ years’ project management experience.
• Facade coordination experience is a plus.
• 3D modelling familiarity is an advantage.
• Strong software skills: Word, Excel, MS Projects or Asta.
• Excellent organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, confident decision-maker with collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hands-on involvement through each project phase

Your New Job:

As Project Manager, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes—from start to finish. In this role, you’ll report to the Department Head and update Senior Management every two weeks on your portfolio’s progress. The position offers a dynamic team setting where open communication and proactive problem-solving are key.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead planning sessions and coordinate resources to hit project targets

• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring all aspects of the scope are understood and achieved

• Maintain hands-on involvement throughout each project phase

• Keep stakeholders informed with both formal updates and informal check-ins

• Facilitate internal and client/contractor decisions

• Adhere to procedures for tracking and achieving project milestones

• Ensure smooth transitions from tender to handover and financial closure

• Manage client and stakeholder relationships

• Identify and resolve risks or internal challenges that may impact progress

• Provide early warnings of potential issues to the project team and senior leadership

• Monitor commercial performance and budgets, collaborating closely with Quantity Surveyors

What Are We Looking For?

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, or Architecture
