Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking a Project HSE Advisor in Gormanston, Meath, to join a leading ISO 45001:2018 accredited contractor on large-scale construction sites.

You will hold a third-level qualification in Health and Safety and 3+ years' experience, monitor safety, investigate incidents, run site inspections and develop internal training. The role offers career progression and support.

Competitive salary, 8% pension, health insurance and 26 days leave are provided.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Health and Safety.
• 3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally in construction.
• Ability to work on large-scale, high-headcount construction sites.
• Understanding of quality and environmental management principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety conditions and work with project teams to enforce safety management systems.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Complete weekly site inspections and monthly site audits.
• Develop and complete internal training.
• Support the project teams with regard to the day-to-day running of the EHS management system.
• Lead regular EHS meetings with subcontractors and site team.
• Set Health and Safety KPIs, monitor performance and report to senior management.

• Set Health and Safety KPIs, monitor performance and trends, and report to senior management.
