Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd. seeks a Project Engineer for Ireland to drive the installation, start-up and testing of critical equipment under OQ, with a 11-month contract. You will coordinate across stakeholders to ensure design deliverables meet project requirements and support post-OQ activities like PQ/PPQ.

Strong GMP experience and proven project leadership are required. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Chemical preferred) is expected; experience in GMP environments is a plus, and

Qualifications

• Post-academic engineering experience in GMP processing design and start-up.
• Demonstrated process engineering experience in pharma settings.
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, start-up, and testing of key equipment systems through OQ completion.

• Interface with cross-functional teams to prepare systems for PQ/PPQ.
• Monitor costs, progress and milestones; report to project leadership.

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, specialising in the development and manufacture of cutting-edge drugs. As they continue to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support their dynamic team and drive forward groundbreaking projects in Ireland.

What you’ll deliver:

• Manage installation, start-up, and testing of key equipment systems through Operational Qualification (OQ) completion.
• Coordinate project activities across stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and reflected in design deliverables.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are ready for post-OQ activities, including PQ and PPQ.
• Monitor project costs, progress, and team milestones, providing regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive post-academic engineering experience in a GMP processing design and start-up environment.
• Demonstrated Process Engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive execution.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering).
• Prefers GMP Environment experience, working with a small group of Project engineers.
