Job summary

Uisce Éireann Irish Water in Ireland is seeking a Project Manager within the Delivery teams to drive the Strategic Projects and Infrastructure Delivery Directorate investment programme safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will manage a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with internal functions and supply chain partners, ensure delivery to time and budget, and apply governance standards across approval gates to optimise capital delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of Portfolio and/or Programme management and delivery of large programmes/projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal/external partners.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and quality output.
• Experience implementing governance standards and approvals processes.
• Ability to adapt and lead change in a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Programme Manager for delivery of project/programme/contract with focus on design, procurement, construction delivery, budget management, scheduling and quality output.
• Manage a diverse range of third-party expertise across multiple disciplines to ensure project delivery.
• Prepare, manage and assess tender documentation for procurement of delivery partners.
• Lead design, estimation and construction activities including statutory processes and stakeholder management.
• Develop delivery plans and strategies to maximise efficient capital delivery and engagement with stakeholders.
• Build strong client relationships with the supply chain and support development of cost estimates.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities and manage contingencies.
• Support handover and commissioning and ensure assets are handed over in line with commitments.
• Contribute to engagement strategies with communities and customers.
