Job summary

National College of Ireland is seeking a Programme Co-ordinator on a fixed-term contract to join the Academic Operations team. You will coordinate programmes across schools, support students, and respond promptly to enquiries, ensuring efficient service delivery.

The role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with key departments including Admissions, Exams, Student Support and Careers.

Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of the Irish third-level education system is advantageous.
  • At least two years of relevant administrative experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Respond efficiently and effectively to enquiries from students, class representatives, and faculty on a wide range of issues.
  • Provide comprehensive coordination support for programmes in the schools.
  • Offer high-quality service to students, ensuring their needs and enquiries are addressed professionally.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal units such as Student Services, Registrar’s Office, Fees, and Examinations.
  • Coordinate the preparation and administration of the School's examination requirements, liaising with academic staff to ensure examination papers and supporting documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
