Job summary

Milish Bakery is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of the production area in Citywest, Dublin 24. You will coordinate staff, assign lines and monitor output to meet targets while upholding safety, hygiene and quality standards.

The role requires strong people-management, clear communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Previous FMCG experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong people-management and communication skills.
• Understanding of production targets and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and health & safety requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production employees during the shift.
• Allocate employees to production lines and work areas according to the production plan.
• Ensure production targets, schedules and required output are achieved.
• Monitor production lines and respond promptly to operational issues.
• Ensure employees follow approved SOPs, safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and quality requirements.
• Complete and check relevant production documentation and records.
• Monitor product quality and escalate quality or food-safety concerns.
• Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout the production area.
• Support training, induction and development of production employees.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance and adherence to procedures; escalate as needed.
• Communicate with Production, Packing, Quality, Maintenance and other departments.
• Assist with production changeovers and ensure equipment and work areas are ready for production.
• Report machinery defects, breakdowns and safety concerns promptly.
• Support the Supervisor/Manager with efficient shift running and leadership on the floor.

Milish Bakery is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Leader to join our busy food manufacturing operation in Citywest, Dublin 24. Reporting to the Production Manager/Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the production area, coordinating employees and ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in accordance with the Company's quality and food-safety standards.

Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment is highly desirable. Previous Team Leader, Line Leader or supervisory experience is preferred. The successful candidate should have strong people-management and communication skills, good organisational ability, an understanding of production targets and manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and workplace Health & Safety requirements would be an advantage. Applicants must have the legal right to work the required hours in Ireland.
