Job summary

Boston Scientific Cork is seeking a Production Supervisor (Nights) to lead a team of production operators in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. You’ll drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coaching and developing colleagues.

The role requires 3–5 years in people management in production, a bachelor’s degree at honors level, and strong planning, organization and continuous-improvement skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience people-management in a dynamic production environment.
• Hons Bachelor Degree (level 8) in a relevant discipline such as Engineering/Science/Production Mgt./Business Mgmt./ Supervisory.
• Excellent planning & organising skills are essential for this role.
• Metrics and continuous improvement experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to motivate and engage with teams.
• Experience of managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and support production personnel to meet daily targets in quality, output, and efficiency.
• Production Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules, incorporating staffing, training, and capacity planning.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Engineering teams to ensure timely product flow and shipment.
• GMP, 5S & Housekeeping: Promote and maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices and workplace cleanliness.
• Process Oversight: Monitor material flows, space utilization, and equipment performance to ensure optimal production efficiency.
• Administrative Duties: Manage time and attendance, holiday planning, and contribute to build plan and progress tracking.
• Health, Safety & Environment: Work with EHS to identify and reduce environmental impacts and ensure a safe working environment.
