Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Production Permitter in Cork to provide permitting and operational support to production while overseeing works safety. The role requires a trade level 6 qualification with relevant experience and knowledge of preparing and issuing permits.

You will own permitting planning across projects, coordinate with maintenance and service vendors, and ensure permits are issued safely and documented. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and site events coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification is trade level 6 qualification with relevant experience.
• A working knowledge of preparing and issuing permits is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work Permitter on projects, Maintenance and Operation activities.
• Own the planning and scheduling of permitting activities, in collaboration with business areas.
• Issue permits in support of maintenance, projects, service vendors and other operations in a safe manner through communication with all interested parties.
• Input into Safety Risk Assessments to support Project Execution as required.
• Provide the liaison activity between Engineering support and sub-contractors to solve technical challenges safely.
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe and compliant manner and is documented appropriately.
• Support Site management in the planning and coordination of high-profile site events (Audits and Corporate visitors).
• Generate lock-out tag-out instructions for equipment that do not have ESIs (Equipment specific instructions)
• Periodically review and update ESIs and CSEs (Confined Space Entries)
• Work closely with SMEs to ensure continued uninterrupted supply during permitting activities.
• Provide training and guidance on permitting to vendors and craft, where applicable, especially to those who are new or infrequently on site.
