Job summary

Arcadis Ireland seeks an Utilities Project Engineer to support delivery and readiness of utility systems for a new fill-finish facility, from mechanical completion through handover to operations.

The role requires at least three days per week on site to coordinate with construction, commissioning, system owners, maintenance technicians, stores and vendors; verify equipment and documentation; and resolve on-word execution issues.

Qualifications

• Typically three or more years' engineering experience in GMP manufacturing or pharmaceutical projects.
• Strong grounding in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing, including GMP/GDP and data integrity.
• Experience with maintenance readiness, asset management, calibration, commissioning support or handover activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute the assigned project plan activities, identifying risks and dependencies and providing progress updates.
• Establish CMMS readiness in IBM Maximo, including locations, hierarchy, equipment and asset setup.
• Coordinate commissioning and spare-parts readiness: assess vendor recommendations and draft approved spares lists.
• Define calibration scope and strategy, support CCD setup, ensure calibration job plans and records are complete.
• Develop the preventative-maintenance programme with PMs, job plans and maintenance structures.
• Coordinate vendor and technician training readiness and course content.
• Develop and review equipment SOPs and documentation for GMP operation and handover.
• Support field walkdowns, issue resolution, documentation review and loop checks during commissioning.
