Job summary

Britvic Ireland, part of the Carlsberg Group, is recruiting a Production Operative to support the growing manufacturing team. You will operate equipment, perform maintenance tasks, and help maintain quality across the line.

The role emphasizes lean practices, root-cause problem solving, and adherence to health and safety standards, with a view to improving site performance.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 18 months with opportunities for growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and contributing to site performance.
• Knowledge of SAP and EWM for materials and warehouse management.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment per best practices while following health and safety rules.
• Provide production service across the site, perform maintenance schedules, respond to breakdowns.
• Monitor production lines and conduct quality checks to ensure standards.
• Perform quality assurance analyses and update information systems promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and apply new skills.
• Develop and maintain performance standards using KPIs including OEE.
