Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group in Wexford is seeking an experienced Production Operator for a 12-month temporary assignment. You will report to the Production Manager and work on a two-cycle shift pattern, handling tasks across production and quality processes.

The role requires a Leaving Certificate or equivalent, 3+ years in production (food, beverage or pharma), strong mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with machinery and computers.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar production environment (Food, Beverage, Pharma).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery and computers.
• Experience with SAP or SCADA systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production activities in materials handling, processing, blending, filling, and labelling areas.
• Maintain accurate batch records in line with quality system guidelines.
• Prepare and operate equipment for safe and efficient manufacturing.
• Ensure machinery and plant equipment are kept clean and operate in line with company policies.
• Conduct final quality checks and inspect products before shipment.
• Safeguard sensitive information, ingredients, and processes in line with company security standards.

What You Need to Know:

We have a fantastic 12-month temporary opportunity for an experienced Production Operator to join a well-established team based in Wexford.

In this temporary position, you’ll report to the Production Manager as part of a collaborative manufacturing team. You’ll be working on a two-cycle shift pattern with a competitive salary and engaging in a variety of tasks supporting the day-to-day activities of the production facility.
