Britvic Ireland, part of the Carlsberg Group, is hiring a Production Operative for our manufacturing site in Ireland. You will operate equipment, perform maintenance tasks, run quality checks and support continuous improvement initiatives to sustain high standards.

The role is a fixed‑term 18‑month contract with a focus on safety, teamwork and delivering world‑class performance. We offer a supportive culture and opportunities to grow within a dynamic production environment.

Qualificações

Role overview

Join our growing manufacturing team as a Production Operative where you'll play a vital role in achieving quality standards and contributing to site performance through effective equipment operation and maintenance. You'll drive continuous improvement using structured approaches including root cause problem solving and lean manufacturing techniques. Please note this role is initially a 18 month Fixed Term Contract

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating equipment according to best practices while complying with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Provide comprehensive production service across the site, including operating plant, performing maintenance schedules, and responding to breakdowns
• Monitoring production lines and conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards
• Performing necessary quality assurance analysis and update information systems in a timely manner
• Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives and apply new skills to drive operational excellence
• Develop and maintain world-class performance standards using agreed KPIs including overall equipment effectiveness

What we’re looking for:

A passionate individual and team player who has:

• Ideally have direct manufacturing operational experience in a fast-paced consumer goods environment
• Working knowledge of SAP & EWM systems
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and HSE applications
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Education/Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Basic Hygiene Certificate
